Elective C: AWR-160 WMD/Terrorism Awareness for Emergency Responders Online (8.00 Hours)

The Standardized Awareness Authorized Training Program, Train-the-Trainer (SAAT) is a one-day course that provides supervisors and trainers with the knowledge and validation of skills required to successfully plan, coordinate, conduct, and administer the Standard Awareness Training (SAT) course. The course reviews SAT learning objectives, instructional strategies, subject matter, and key teaching points for each module and activity. Students are required to complete a performance examination to validate the trainer candidate’s skills in presenting an instructional module. The course also reviews key Center for Domestic Preparedness instructional policies and introduces handouts outlining additional policies and administrative procedures.
